Public BBQ

A small suburban playground on Araluen Street in Fisher, refreshed with new mulch and pitched squarely at younger children. The play structure combines stairs, a climbing ladder and sliding pole, a sun wall panel and a metal slide, with a swing set carrying both a standard seat and a toddler bucket seat. A single picnic table with a double barbecue faces the playground, along with a bench seat, so supervising from the cooking spot is easy. There is a car park and a recycling bin. Tree shade does the work here — there is no shade sail — and there are no toilets on site. The grass is rough and lumpy underfoot, which makes throwing down a rug less comfortable than it should be.
